No maintenance! The rates are way too high for what you actually get! Dirty, messy, dirty hallways that are never cleaned, exterior door locks that never work. That’s just the basics! Not worth it!
Juniper Place Apartments
Let me start by saying this place is amazing! The maintenance manager knew from the days my friend left that their windows didn’t have locks and he complained to the office several times but nothing was fixed. They live on the first floor. The lease specifically states that residents are not allowed to have guns in their apartment, and I had a gun pulled on me in the parking lot. I reported it to the police and informed the manager of the complex, but nothing was done. This happened at the end of 2021, now almost 3 months have passed! Never park there, and god forbid you try to save a place where you are loudly told not to. But still, a caring person who plays the role of a bodyguard (which he is not at all) occupies a special place. If you are not a fan of maintenance or office, you can forget about anything. They are listed under the supervision of a closed complex and are not accurate. The only cameras are in the office, and I guess because there is a gate around the area, it’s closed, that doesn’t make it a gated community. There is a serious problem with the mouse, they complained several times but did nothing. Their cat is bigger. It took over a month to replace the water heater when it failed. If you want a complex that truly values the safety of its residents, then don’t come here!!!
Free yourself from worries and invest your energy in finding a good place to live. This complex is a complete joke. Management is unresponsive and dismissive of requests, and the leasing staff is no better. They are high maintenance, and when they do show up, they go back and repair contractors or other maintenance team members (who never show up.) Over a month of living in terrible conditions. Then my husband and I left.
Maintenance doesn’t work very often and when they do it’s always at least 3 months later. Talking to a lease is like talking to a wall. Pictures are lies. No renovation means old paint over paint. It’s dirty here! Look for cheaper accommodation elsewhere because it’s not worth it!
Donna Court Apartments Philadelphia, Pa
She left in 2016, there was a bat in the apartment that did not enter the door. Maintenance always came on time and solved my problems.
I have lived here for 3 years. Staying in the projects is better than here. Mice are horrible and roaches abound. J
