Citizens Energy Explains Water Shutoff Notices At Indianapolis Apartments

I’ve lived here for four months and it’s completely overrun with large and baby rodents of all kinds and varieties. I’ve never seen a live disc in my life, but in my short time here I’ve had a lot of fun. My bathroom drain drains urine from the toilet upstairs into my toilet, the floor, and it flows into me, so I hope no one upstairs gets an infectious disease. I called them, I told them myself, I called them and they really don’t care at all. When I came home one day my stove was on in my kitchen and it wouldn’t go off so I had to unplug it. My fridge doesn’t work properly, so of course the ice cream doesn’t freeze. I guess in 110 degree weather on the fourth floor, with no heat or air conditioning, I didn’t need ice cream or ice in my freezer! I have cellulite on my leg from the stickers and my leg is swollen and clean for over 50 hours a week so that’s amazing. I have an online store that I can’t do anything about right now because I don’t want to risk my customers being a dick. I am completely exhausted from work, coming home and having to wash and clean all my things and just trying to protect my things and my health, forgetting that I was comfortable at home. My life like this was the longest and hardest struggle of my life. I don’t believe that people live like this. Of course I get no answer on the phone and when driving on my way to the office one day after working 10 hours they change the names to Indy Flats, Midtown Flats and Northside Flats to make them look different when they get too crowded. take action complaint and they act like they spent money that people gave them, but luckily I keep all my receipts. Hope this helps everyone make an informed decision. It’s really a struggle and tiring and I feel so bad every time I’m in my apartment. Thank you and good luck in your apartment search!

Some rental office workers are nice, others not so nice, but generally they are not good at reporting problems to maintenance that need fixing. Maintenance is terrible. Water damage emergencies are not a priority and they expect to have a huge hole in their drywall for over 2 months while they find a contractor to fix it. There are many unfinished projects, such as unfinished flooring, half-finished light fixtures, mismatched paint in the hallways. There is no cleanliness in the buildings. Someone comes every 6 months to wash the halls and clean the suitcases. Cigarettes, garbage, everywhere inside and outside. Whatever happens is cleaned up by the neighbors. No maintenance done in public areas, just pieces of drywall and wood everywhere. Of course there are fire and safety violations like illuminated EXIT signs, broken stair treads you can barely step on, completely blacked out hallways and stairs … that won’t be fixed for at least a week, if that. don’t be. . Personally, I haven’t had any problems with insects, but it’s obviously a problem in some units because they have people come in to treat each unit weekly and daily for several months. Why do I put up with this nonsense? I really like the neighborhood, my utilities are in my lease, I love my apartment (not a landlord lol), and I’ve done some renovations myself. I also finally learned how much I have to do at the hiring office to make things right.

If I could give zero stars I would. I lived in Rotherwood for over a year and it was one disaster after another. They circled me for 4 weeks about going on a date before they finally told me when I could go out. So I pack up my things, load up the uhaul truck and head to Indy Flats to pick up my keys and move in. They say, “oh, I thought someone called you, the tenant decided not to move in, so we don’t have an apartment for you.” This left me homeless, with all my belongings in a UHaul truck. They tell me they can give me a studio instead of a bedroom, but it will be dirty for two days and not available. At this point I’m desperate for a place to live so I’m taking it and paying them $600 up front so I can get the keys. So I’m moving into a studio instead of the two bedrooms I should have. And then it goes downhill from there. I live on the first floor but my windows don’t lock so it’s easy for anyone to climb through the windows and this neighborhood has a serious problem with drug addiction and homeless people because of the methadone clinic not a block away. The door lock is also terrible so the lobby was always full of drug addicts and homeless people looking for a place to hang out. If you want to feel safe, this is not the place to live. Also, everything is burning and the bathrooms are dirty and everything is dirty. If you can imagine something low-maintenance and disgusting, then you can imagine one of them. But hey, the rent is decent, unless they tow your car even when you have a parking ticket and you have to pay $200 to get it back. Or they have to kill cocks continuously. Or the constant fear of being robbed or someone like my neighbor taking the tires off your car. The building is so bad that someone walked past the townhouse unit and passed out
